Organic Vegetable Gardening Information (part 2 of 2)

It will also be a good idea to till or dig in fertilizers using organic matter. This must at least be an inch of sharp sand if the soil you have is made of clay and then you rake the soil into beds and rows. You should leave it be for at least a month before you start planting.

Don’t forget to use organic mulch to blanket the garden.  You can use ground bark for that since it will decompose over a season or two.

You can also use a compost file made out of recycled leaves, grass clippings, coffee grounds, eggshells and kitchen waste since these serve as a good fertilizer.

The organic vegetable garden will grow but it will be always under threat from weeds and insects. For that, you have to use other animals and insects to fight these pests. You don’t have to buy them because setting the ideal conditions will invite them in to your home.

As for the weeds, you can get rid of them by pulling them out or spraying home made vinegar as this stops them growing. If you plant thickly enough, you will be able to discourage weeds from growing in between the plants.

Planting your own organic vegetable garden isn’t that bad given that the only ones who will be consuming what is planted are those that live in the household. But it’s going to be a bed of roses from the time you till the land to the time that they will be harvested.

The advantage of working on a small spaced is that you can easily inspect the whole area so nothing is left behind.

Organic Vegetable Gardening Information (part 1 of 2)

Organic vegetable gardening is making a comeback. This is because people are more health conscious about the food they eat and in some places, there is already a food shortage so some have decided to plant and grow these on their own. To help you get started, here is some organic vegetable gardening information.

Organic vegetable gardening does not use fertilizers and chemicals which can be harmful to humans. It also does not use genetic engineering or irradiation. Instead, it uses simple farming techniques like tilling the land, giving it enough water and sufficient exposure from the sun.

When harvesting is finished, something new is planted which is better known as crop rotation that helps keep the soil fertile.

Growing organic vegetables is not something that only farmers can do. This can be done by homeowners since they can plan some of these in their own backyard.

The first thing that you have to do is choose what kind of vegetables you want to grow. You also have to understand how big these can grow so it will be easy to plot how many can be placed per row.

The next step is to check the condition of the soil. There are kits you can buy from the store to check its fertility. If the soil is good, then you can start by clearing it of rocks and weeds by mowing, pulling or digging them out.

You should then add compost, bone meal or rock phosphate and greensand to the soil to supply it with nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium. You can also add lime or sulphur to adjust the soil’s pH level only if you have to.

Mineral Makeup Application Technique (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

While for eye shadows and eyeliners:

• When applying eye shadows, a wet thin eye lining brush would do the trick.  Actually, a lip brush is also an option.

• To get the best results, you can use three different colors on your lid.  You just have to make sure that the colors you choose are complementary with each other.

When using blush, make sure to shake off the excess.  You can use a soft and fluffy brush to highlight your cheekbones.  The amount that you need to apply on the cheeks depend on the look you would like to achieve.  For fresher and lighter look, then apply less.

Actually, there are basic application instruction which can be used.  It the twirl, tap and brush.  So the first step is twirling the brush to gather enough makeup.  Then tapping off the excess.  There should be no makeup showing outside the brush.  If there is, then that would be an excess.

When brushing it to your skin, you do not simply brush it.  Brush it in a circular movement, from the outside of  the face towards the cheekbones.  The remaining powder on the brush can be used on the cheeks, forehead and nose.  You do not have to apply a lot, start will less and see if additional layers are needed.

Actually, to get a different look every time you use your mineral makeup, you just need to change how you apply the makeup.  There are eye shadows which can also be used in other parts of the face like the lips.  While, there can blushes which can be used as eye shadows.  You can check the manufacturer instructions if those kind of mixing is possible.

Mineral Makeup Application Technique (part 1 of 2)

Women are now exploring the benefits of mineral makeup.  Since 1970, when mineral cosmetics were first released in the market, women worldwide are slowly discovering its good effects on the skin.  Like any other makeup, it is no good when it is not applied appropriately and correctly.

Since mineral makeup is different from conventional makeup, this would require a different application technique.  When using mineral cosmetics, make sure to start with only a small amount.  You can just add more makeup if you feel that it is not enough.  Sometimes, we tend to put too much completely unaware that when something goes wrong we would have to take everything off.

Here are some mineral makeup application techniques that you could easily apply.

For foundations:

• The good thing about mineral based foundation is that they are different from traditional foundation that tends to “suffocate” your skin specially on hot, summer day.  During this type of weather condition, this kind of foundation can be refreshing.

• You start with a kabuki brush to make sure that the skin is covered fully and evenly with foundation.  Once you have made sure that the foundation is even, you can apply mineral veil which would define features and enhance your face.

• When using wet foundation, you can still use your kabuki brush.  When applying wet foundation, first twirl you kabuki to make contact with the foundation.  Then spray some moisture to the brush to make it wet.  You can start applying the foundation to the skin.

• Mineral foundations are also great concealers.  They can make small imperfections go away.  Bronzers and blushes are applied in the same way as foundations.

• If you want heavy foundation, try using sponges.  A damp sponge can give your face a heavier and more intense look.

Organize the Best Children’s Party (part 2 of 2)

http://www.bromotravelindo.com

Second rule of thumb, never attempt to run a party alone, get your husband to help, even members of your family or close friends, by assigning tasks and delegating functions for each and every one. Take note that children are a very restless and active lot, so no matter how airtight and solid your initial plan is, when the time comes to start the party, you can never do two or more things at the same time.

Surely, you cannot cut the cake while someone asks to go to the bathroom, or refill the goodie basket, while trying to host the party – not even Superman can do such a thing, so what makes you think you can do all the work? Dream on.

Third rule of thumb, remind your child to always maintain good manners regardless of whether it be the most special day for them. Kids, because of their innocence, could sometimes do the darnedest things and teaching them proper conduct during parties could make them understand that they must also mind their manners.

Things can unsuspectingly turn awry, especially for kids who may tend to make a remark about a friend or the way a guest dresses for the party, even comment that “I already have that toy in my room” when trying to open up presents in front of guests.

This can be a cause of embarrassment for you, so you might as well try to foresee things like this and you can orient or set expectations with your kid about how to conduct himself or herself properly. This can be done weeks before the party, that way it will still remain fresh in their minds about how to conduct themselves fairly during the party.

So take these rules of thumb to heart and surely, you will be able to organize the best children’s birthday party ever.
